Festival Participant ACCOMMODATIONS AND SET UP

This page contains important information on vendor set-up for the 2019 Wild America Nature Festival. Please read the information carefully and fill out the web-form below.

EXHIBIT SPACE & SET UP: You are responsible for setting up your exhibit area and providing all materials that you will need for a clean, organized, professional looking space. Unless you have applied for and been offered a space under our lean-to, you will need to provide your own exhibitor tent (and tents MUST be weighted down to protect against high winds). You will be assigned an exhibit space and your tent/display must be fully set up by 9:00am on Saturday, July 27th. We strongly encourage you to set up your exhibit tent, table, and display materials on Friday, July 26th. You must take responsibility for your materials and artwork. The Wild America Nature Festival, Panama Rocks Scenic Park, and the Roger Tory Peterson Institute of Natural History are not responsible for theft of or damage to your property.

FESTIVAL ACCOMMODATIONS: There are a limited number of spaces available for exhibitors/participants in the Wild America Nature Festival to camp on Friday and Saturday night on the grounds of Panama Rocks Scenic Park. If you wish to camp you must request to do so AND THEN be approved by Panama Rocks management. We will prioritize out of town guests. Only exhibitors/participants and immediate family may camp on site.

Please understand that Panama Rocks does not normally operate a campground and can only accommodate limited tent camping and a limited number of small campers/trailers  for a maximum of two nights (Friday July 26th and Saturday July 27th). We do not have facilities for dumping waste nor do we offer electric hookups at campsites. We do have a bathhouse with separate facilities for men and women with one shower in the men's facility and one shower in the women's facility. These restrooms will be open to festival guests during during the hours that the festival is open to the public; however, they will be cleaned daily. The bathhouse has electricity and we can offer electrical outlets for exhibitors/participants to charge cell phones in our recreation hall during the evening and early morning (roughly between 6:00pm and 9:30am).

The area where campsites will be located consists of forest, a field, and hard-packed dirt/gravel road. Depending on the weather this summer, the density of the soil can vary greatly. You don't want to get your vehicle stuck, and we don't want you to get your vehicle stuck. Because of this, we cannot permit large/heavy campers/RV's.

If you do not wish to camp at Panama Rocks, there are many wonderful accommodations available in Chautauqua County. Please visit www.tourchautauqua.com for a list of hotels, bed and breakfasts, and camp grounds. We strongly recommend that you book your accommodations as soon as possible. Summer is tourist season and rooms can fill up fast.
