BECOME A FESTIVAL SPONSOR
On July 29 & 30, 2018 the Roger Tory Peterson Institute of Natural History (RTPI) and Panama Rocks Scenic Park will host the second annual Wild America Nature Festival, celebrating nature and all things inspired by it. The Wild America Nature Festival raises awareness of nature in our own backyard through education and art, encourages sustainable enjoyment of the environment, and promotes conservation of our natural world.
The Wild America Nature Festival will feature a juried fine nature art and craft show and competition; a local food cook-off competition; and well-known speakers, classes, workshops, and music. The festival will increase awareness of the environment, promote sustainability and conservation, and celebrate the scenic beauty and plentiful natural resources that make our region such a great place to live, visit, and work.
In the early 1900s the nature of Chautauqua County inspired young Roger Tory Peterson to pursue his celebrated career as an internationally renowned environmental educator, nature artist, and conservationist. The Peterson Field Guides have sold millions of copies and, twenty years after Peterson’s death, continue to be a staple on any naturalist’s book shelf. Peterson’s book ‘Wild America’ showed us that nature is everywhere if you know when, where, and how to look and listen, and his legacy of connecting people across the world with the beauty and intrinsic value of nature continues through the work of RTPI and Panama Rocks, who jointly host the Wild America Nature Festival.
The first Wild America Nature Festival in 2017 had about 4,000 guests attend. We look forward to partnering with local, regional, and national businesses to make our 2018 festival even better than last year's, and we hope that you will join us as a festival sponsor. By sponsoring the Wild America Nature Festival you and your organization will help promote awareness and sustainable enjoyment of our very own wild America through art, education, and conservation. Your contributions will provide essential support to an event that will strengthen our local and regional economy by attracting thousands of visitors to the area each year, and instill a greater sense of stewardship in those who are fortunate enough to live here.
If you have any questions or would like to become a sponsor, please contact Jonathan Weston at 716-782-2845 or email@example.com.
